No Interference Or I'll Quit: Kosta Papic

HEARTS' head coach, Kostadinov Papic has issued a warning to the club's management that he would quit his post if he is put under undue pressure to perform magic for the team. Reliable information reaching 90 Minutes indicates that at a meeting held between the Serbian and the club's management on Monday afternoon after the Hearts/All Blacks game which the Phobians won 2/0, Papic is believed to have made his intentions clear to his superiors when he was questioned on his tactical variations for the said game. The source hinted us: “During the discussions, Papic laid bare his intentions and cautioned that he would step down if his allowances are not paid on time and if unrealistic expectations are placed on his shoulders. He again complained of interference in his job and went further to warn that if that is not halted, he would politely step down”.

Papic, who has been linked with a return to South-Africa to take over Orlando Pirates clearly showed his frustrations when he spoke to us: “I won't be part of Hearts again if they fail to respect the issues that I've discussed with them. I hate the interferences and the pressure so the earlier it stops the better it would be for everyone. The players have not been paid their entitlements and to me that should be a concern because their lack of concentration could affect their performances on the pitch”. The meeting was attended by Nii Ayi Bonte II, Frank Nwokolo Nelson, Sabahn Quaye and Papic himself.
