No Ghanaian in New African soccer Executive Committee

The 25th general assembly of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), which concluded its session in Bamako, Mali on 17 January Mali, has elected the continental soccer body's new Executive Committee.

All members whose mandate had expired were re-elected except Ousseynou Dieng of Cote d'Ivoire, who lost to Nigeria's Amos Adamu, and Zimbabwean Leo Mugabe, beaten by South Africa's Molefi Oliphant.

Egypt's Mustapha Fahmy is CAF's secretary-general, while Karam Mostafa is the continental soccer body's director of finance.

The full list of committee members, who will serve a four-year term is as follows:
