Former Asante Kotoko striker Nii Odartey Lamptey is backing the current Asante Kotoko management to find a solution to the team’s struggles on the pitch.

The Porcupine Warriors take on their sworn rivals Hearts of Oak this coming Monday in a game that promises a lot.

Kotoko is 9th on league table while Hearts of Oak is 2nd just two points behind first place Wa All Stars.

Interim boss Michael Osei lost his first game since taking over from David Duncan who was asked to step aside as the club slump to a regrettable 16th position.

But Nii Odartey Lamptey who played for the Asante Kotoko says the current administration have what it takes to get it right.

“Well with Opoku Nti and Kennedy there you expect them to solve this situation of the team’s struggles on the pitch,” Lamptey told Accra based Citi

“Nana has also stepped in so you expect the situation to be solved soon.”

“These challenges Bayern and Real Madrid all go through these challenges but they always find a way of solving the issues.”
