New Name for Soccer Group

The Global Soccer Coaches Developers Association of Ghana, headed by Black Stars coach Fred Osam Duodu, has changed its name to Ghana Soccer Coaches Association.

Mr Duodu told the GNA after a meeting with Ben Koufie, Chairman of the Ghana Football Association that the new name is to help bring all Ghanaian coaches under the same umbrella to fight for a common course.

The new name is also to coerce the Ghana Football Association to become an automatic partner so that they (association) could be taken care of in their annual budget.

To this end, the coach said members would meet on Monday, to review their constitution after which it would become a working document.
