National under-23 starts camping on Monday

Accra, Aug 22, GNA - The national under-23 team the Black Meteors, will on Monday, August 25, begin camping at Obuasi to prepare for the All Africa Games scheduled for Abuja, Nigeria.

In a statement signed by Mr Kofi Nsiah, General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), 13 players have been invited to report for camping.

The players are: Kojo Poku, Eric Gawu, Abubakari Yahuza and Iddrisu Yahaya all from King Faisal.

Isaac Amoako and Shaibu Yakubu, are from Obuasi Goldfields, while Micheal Osei and Yussif Chibsah are joining the team from Kotoko with Asamoah Gyan coming from Liberty Professionals. The rest are Patrick Antwi of Mine Stars and David Ofei and Victor Ogoe of Accra Great Olympics.

The All Africa Games is scheduled to begin in October.
