NEC Fires Owusu

Dutch club, NEC, have informed Ghanaian midfielder Mike Owusu that his services are no longer needed at the club and that he will have to look for a new a new club when his current deal expires at the end of the season.

The 26-year-old, joined NEC last season from Orgryte but has been unable to convince NEC of his qualities.

The club's technical director Leen Looyen stated that it was a difficult decision for the club to make. "It was a difficult thing to have to do but at least it gives Mike the chance to look somewhere else."
