Muntari hands Rajevac fitness boost

Sulley Muntari played himself into contention for a starting place in the Ghana team against Serbia after training normally with the Black Stars squad in Mogwase, Rustenberg.

The midfielder has recovered from a thigh injury picked during Ghana’s last training session at their camp in Paris.

Ghana plays Serbia in the opening Group D game on Sunday in Pretoria. And his return to fitness would certainly hand Milovan Rajevac more options in attack going into the game.

Sulley took part in the full training session held behind closed doors Friday morning after going through a 45 minute session the previous day.
