Muntari claims all is cool now

Sulley Muntari claims 'everything is cool' between himself and Milovan Rajevac after his rant at the Ghana coach drew a reprimand from the Ghana Football Association.

Rajevac asked for the midfielder to be sent home before the intervention of captain Stephen Appiah and GFA president Kwasi Nyanetekyie prevented that.

Muntari then said sorry to Rajevac infront of the rest of the team before coming on in the second half of the 0-1 defeat at the hands of Germany.

"We had a meeting because he wasn't happy with certain things because after the game against Australia definitely we were supposed to win the game but couldn't, so there was a little bit of frustration in the changing room but all went well," he told SkySports News.

"So you saw he made me play so everything is cool in the camp, our morale, everything is great, we are happy and we want to do well."

Muntari's rants threatened to mar what had until then been a quiet camp with the Ghana Football Association issuing a statement to say his actions had broken the team's code of conduct.

GFA president Kwesi Nyantekyie said after the loss to Germany he did not simply want to discuss the matter. "Muntari is a subject I don't want to discuss. We are having a good tournament and I don't want to spend time talking about individuals."
