Morocco confirm Ghana friendly

The Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has announced the national team will play Ghana in a friendly next month.

The date is fixed for 8 September but the venue has not yet been confirmed, the FRMF stated in its website.

Rouen and Creteil are possible venues for the game, after it was announced the Charlety Stadium in Paris has been ruled out for security reasons.

It will be the first game for Morocco's new French coach Henri Michel who took charge of the Atlas Lions last week.

Morocco became the first side to qualify for next year's Nations Cup which will be hosted by Ghana.
