The ongoing MTN Soccer Academy Skuulz Challenge 3 last Sunday night met patrons and Fans who had come to cheer their favorite team mates with even more painful news as it saw the eviction of yet another contender to the ultimate championship, Akanvorse Prosper Achema from the Vitting Senior High School.

Just before the eviction of the seventeen year old, the “Executioner” had asked if he was nervous, to which he answered in the affirmative, the tone of his voice lending further credence to his response.

It was not long and the “Executioner” finally broke the news of his eviction, which was unsurprisingly met with deep disappointment both by the Defender and the many Fans that had gathered.

Achema’s eviction, and the accompanying shock, comes in the heels of the exit of three other candidates who had equally been touted to make it to the Final showdown, making this season’s competition arguably one of the most unpredictable in the history of the soccer reality show.

Festus #2, was however full of smiles as he received the captain’s arm band for the first time.

On the night, the team mates recorded their third five a-side win against a visiting team as they beat a select side from the Islamic University College, 3-1.

Both sides played a full attacking game holding each other to a goalless draw in the first half. The second half however saw a more renewed side as the team mates piled more pressure on the visitors. The efforts of the former evidently paid off and through a series of well calculated passes, Ayamga #14 scored a hat trick for his side with their opponents pulling a goal back.

Entertainment on the night was simply electrifying.

The exit of Achema leaves seven team mates left in the competition with the expected eviction of one or two more team mates before the Final showdown.

One can only envision that the coming weeks will without doubt get keener as it is clearly going to turn into a battle for a slot in the Finals.

The next eviction comes off this Sunday at 6:30pm at the MTN Soccer Academy House. Fans are therefore urged to power their favourite team mate to the Finals by texting his number to the short code 1584 on MTN and all other networks.
