Ghanaian striker Mohammed Anas scored but his side Maritzburg United conceded in added time to lose 3-2 to Free State Stars at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Tuesday night.

Anas came off the bench in the 71st minute to score the leveller for the Team of Choice on 89 minutes.

But Burkinabe defender Robert Sankara snatched the match winner for the visitors in the stoppage time.

Anas was scored his first goal of the season in five league appearances.

Last season, he was the club’s top scorer with six goals from 24 matches.
