Missodey urges on Hotsteel FC and Golden Eyes FC

Accra, June 10, GNA - The Volta Regional Sports Director, Gabriel Yao Missodey, has bemoaned the absence of a Premier League Club in the regional capital, Ho.

He said Heart of Lions, which is based in Kpando remains the only Club from the Volta Region playing in the elite division.

Missodey, who made the remarks during a courtesy call on the players and managements of Hotsteel FC and Golden Eyes FC last Monday, urged the two Clubs to stride on to become a powerful force.

The two Clubs have qualified for the sub-Middle League, and the Director said that represents a major step towards qualification to the Premier League if they put in an extra effort to achieve success.

Dickson Kofi Akortia, head coach of Hotsteel FC expressed appreciation to the support of the Regional Director and assured that they will maximize efforts to reach the pinnacle of Ghana football.

Golden Eyes FC was formed in 2002 whilst Hotsteel FC was created a year later.
