Minister proposes ECOWAS camp for Uganda game

Education and sports minister, Yaw Osafo Maafo, has suggested that the Black Stars should camp outside the country for their next 2006 world cup qualifier against Uganda in Kumasi.

The Stars have in recent times camped in Kenya for away matches in the qualifying series but internally for home games.

There are suggestions to adopt the East African country as a permanent camp for the remaining matches.

But Mr Osafo Maafo believes the sub-region would serve as conducive destination to insulate the team from any form of distractions.
