Milo Colts Soccer Competition Ends

Wa, (Upper West) -- the Seven-Day Milo Colts Soccer Competition has ended in Wa with a call on organisations and individuals to contribute towards the unearthing of soccer talents to enable Ghana regain her past glory in soccer. Alhaji Ali Seidu Pelpuo, Wa District Chief Executive who made the call commended Nestle (Ghana) Limited for its continuous contribution towards the sports development. He also commended the participating clubs for exhibiting good sportsmanship during the competition.

Col George Brock, Acting Chief Executive of the National Sports Council presented 24 Footballs, valued at 2.4 million cedis to the twelve participating clubs. Mr.. Nick Dube, Marketing Manager of Nestle pledged the support of his company towards sports development. He later presented 100,000 cedis to third-placed Tamale Shooting Stars for involving in an Accident last week on their way to Wa for the competition
