Michael Osei To Be Sanctioned By Kotoko

Kumasi Asante Kotoko's attacker, Michael Osei is to be sanctioned by the club's management for staying away from last Sunday's match against Accra Hearts of Oak without any reasons. Osei who has been invited by new Black Stars coach, Millan Zivadinovic allegedly refused to respond to a call by head coach, Ian Porterfield to join his colleagues in Accra to prepare for the game.

He was reported to be in Kumasi, when the club lost by three goals to nil to Accra Hearts of Oak.

Osei, who missed out on the club's trip to South Africa where they participated in the VODACOM Challenge Cup due to an invitation he received for trial stint with a Czech club is to appear before the Kotoko management to explain his actions.

Meanwhile, defender, Joseph Hendricks has rejoined his colleagues after being pardoned for his undisciplined behaviour that caused his expulsion from camp during the club(quote)s stay in South Africa.

Fresh reports from Kumasi say fans of the Porcupine Warriors are still reflecting on the club's three-nil loss to Hearts of Oak.

They have started comparing the technical abilities of new head coach, Ian Porterfield to that of their former coach, Ernst Middendorp.

The fans thronged the training grounds of Kotoko this evening and hurled insults at the players for their dismissal performance on Sunday.
