Metro Stars spank Breman United

Cape Coast, May 4, GNA - Tuba Metro Stars chalked a 3-1 sweet victory over Great Breman United in the Central Region Division Two Middle League currently unerway at the Robert Mensah stadium at Cape Coast.

After FIFA referee Joseph Macarthy signalled the two sides into action it was Breman United who scored the opener in the 18th minute through outside right, De Graft Rexford.

Metro Stars gradually warmed themselves into the game and forced the tide in their favour by dictating the pace but had to wait until the 24th minute when midfielder, Prince Soman found the equalizer. They continued to pile pressure on their opponents and it came as no surprise when they ahead to score two quick goals through right half back Mohammed Muyei and Prince Soman to bring the full time score to 3-1 in their favour.

In another encounter, Assin Dompim Ahofra Royals beat Dunkwa-On-Offin Starke F/C 6-5 on penalties after drawing 1-1 at full time. 04 May 07
