Mensah Brefo scores on final day for ASEC

Ghanaian youngster Mensah Brefo scored on the final day of the Ivorian Ligue 1 last Sunday as ASEC Abidjan missed out on the title by just one point.

The former WAFA trainee only goal gave ASEC a 1-0 win at Sporting Gagnoato finish with 50 points.

Tanda were crowned champions after a 2-1 home win over Korhogo.

ASEC are captained by former WAFA (formerly Fetteh Feyenoord Academy) and Asante Kotoko player Mark Sekyere.
