Medeamaa holds Faisal to a 2-2 pulsating drawn game

Kumasi, Jan. 10, GNA - Visiting Medeama Sporting Club held

Kumasi King Faisal FC to a pulsating 2-2 drawn game in their Glo

Premier League match played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium,

Kumasi on Sunday night. It was Faisal who took the visitors by storm and scored their

first goal when the match was two minutes old with a perfect shot

by speedster Asuandzie Baffoe.

The visitors, formerly Kessben F/C fought back hard and

found the net in the 32nd minute through Louis Agyeman formerly

of Kumasi Asante Kotoko with a header which beat Faisal's

keeper Iddrisu Ibrahim. Baffoe who was a torn in the flesh of the defence of Medeamaa

made it two with a cheeky shot just some metres from the goal-line

with goalkeeper Mozart Adjetey completely displaced in the 35th

minute in a goalmouth melee

Medeama came up strongly in the second session as they piled

pressure on their opponents and this enabled them to level up the

scores in the 50th minute through Larbi Coomson when he

connected home a cross from Eric Boakye. Both teams marshaled forces to find the leader but all their

efforts could not bring any changes to the score line until referee

Awal Mohammed whistled to bring hostilities to an end.
