Medeama seal Kofi Agyare deal with Kotoko

Asante Kotoko have released centre-back Kofi Agyare to FA Cup champions Medeama SC, footyGhana can confirm.

The former Hearts of Oak defender who joined the porcupine warriors in December last year moves for an undisclosed fee which footyGhana understands to be the unsettled balance in the transfer fee of winger Richard Mpong last season.

Kofi Agyare featured 9 times for the Ghanaian champions with his last game being the 3-0 victory over city rivals King Faisal few weeks ago.

In related news, young striker Michael Mensah is on his way out with a possible destination being Wa - another loan spell with Wa All Stars for the second round of the 2013/14 Ghana Premier League.

FootyGhana however understands Medeama have also officially requested for an outright sale of Mensah.
