Medeama SC could be made to fork out thousands of dollars if they part ways with head coach Bashir Hayford, MTNFootball.com has learnt.
The ex-Asante Kotoko boss was suspended for one month after his expensive squad lost 2-1 at home to Wa All Stars in their Premier League opener.
It is widely believed the Tarkwa-based side are considering dismissing the coach when he resumes full duty at the club.
But that could have financial implications due to a binding clause in his contract.
Medeama recorded their first win of the campaign under interim boss Yusif Abubakar last Sunday in a 2-0 win over Liberty Professionals at home.
