Manuel Zaccharius linked with vacant Hearts of Oak job

Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak have reportedly held a crucial meeting with the agent of Bechem United coach Manuel Zaccharius, according to media claims.

The Phobians are on the look for a new head coach after parting ways with Portuguese Sergio Traguil and installing assistant Yaw Preko in a stop gap role.

Hearts acting Managing Director Vincent Sowah is interested in shipping Zaccharius to the capital-based club.

Zaccharius's reputation soared over the weekend when he won the lucrative 2016 MTN FA Cup title for the Hunters in Cape Coast.

The coach's agent Francis Hackmann, who brokered the deal between Hearts and Japanese coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi, is set to meet Sowah and a section of the club's board.
