Malik Jabir set to return to club football

Onetouch Premier League outfit King Faisal look set to take quick measures to reverse their dwindling fortunes in Ghana's elite division.

The Kumasi based club have entered into preliminary talks with former Asante Kotoko player, Malik Jabir, as the club?s chief executive officer.

Jabir was relieved off his post as chief executive of Real Tamale United before the start of this season.

The former Asante Kotoko technical director has not ruled out joining the Kumasi-based club after holding talks with club owner Alhaji Abdul Karim Grunsah.

"Alhaji Gruzah contacted me on Saturday and we are still talking. Nothing definite can be said. Maybe from next week I can say something," he disclosed to Ghanasoccernet.com

King Faisal have earned themselves the tag of basement dwellers after just two rounds of matches following an opening day 4-0 defeat at the hands of Liberty and a 1-0 home loss to new entrants, Kessben FC.
