Major Larson Scores High Marks At Congress

... Supporters demand instant results

The newly appointed CEO of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Major rtd. Yaw Larson endeared himself to the fans of the Club at the National Circles Delegates Congress held at Sunyani over the weekend.

In his usual blunt presentation, he reiterated his commitment to all inclusive system of administration where the supporters of the club would be playing a crucial role in the running of the club. He was however quick to add that the supporters would be required to make a lot of financial commitments to the club. He said his administration would embark on a lot of projects to raise funds for the club. ?I am here to create rather than spend the wealth of Kotoko?, he stressed.

He added that he would endeavour to forge close working relationship with his colleagues and other stakeholders. ?I will aspire to operate an open administration responsive and receptive to new ideas and live above reproach?, he emphasized.

During deliberations by the members at the congress, the supporters were unanimous in their call for good results, insisting that there is no room for honeymoon. According to them the period of rebuilding was over. ?Herbert Mensah has already put in place structures that should be yielding dividends now?, one fan opined.

The congress which was held outside Kumasi for the first, recorded massive patronage. Dignitaries present included the Board secretary, Lawyer Kwame Boafo, National Circles chairman, Osei Boateng and all national and Regional executives.
