Mahatma Otoo demands support striker

After netting a world class goal to propel Hearts of Oak to a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Medeama to move level with arch rivals Asante Kotoko at the apogee of the Glo Ghana Premier League, striker Mahatma is urging management of the club to recruit another striker to support him.

Mahatma insists the job of banging in the goals for a big club like the former Ghana and African champions is a huge one that he needs assistance to do.

He told Pravda 93.5 FM in Accra: “”It has not been easy, it’s very difficult. I need a striker to support me so that not all the work will be on just me. That the onus will not be on just me so the management have to bring in a new striker soon.

Mahatma’s demand raises the question once about what is keeping Hearts of Oak from playing young sensation Osei Pele even as he trains regularly and scores often in friendly matches with them.
