MTN releases roadmap for Ghana 2008

Accra, July 25, GNA - The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of Ghana 2008 African Cup of Nations will on Thursday July 26th roll out a 24-episode television program aimed at heightening public awareness about the tourney.

The 60-minute programme entitled "MTN Road Map to Ghana 2008" will simultaneously be aired on all five-television networks in the country namely Ghana Television, TV3 Network, TV Africa, Metro TV and Skyy TV (Takoradi).

Magnus Rex Danquah, Chief Operating Officer of the LOC said the show will be spiced with the history and evolution of Africa's plum soccer fiesta from it's inception in 1957 up to date. The programme which would be shown at 8-9pm every Thursday will feature five unique segments carefully selected to leave the viewer well informed.

The Chief Operating Officer said the programme would also be broadcast to the 53 countries across the continent as well as the global audience via satellite.
