The ongoing MTN Soccer Academy Skuulz Challenge 3 last Sunday night gave Team mates and patrons of the Show what could aptly be described as a “pleasant surprise” as contrary to its usual dreaded evictions, all remaining seven team mates were spared eviction.

The reaction to the good news was mixed; disbelief, excitement, nostalgia, and others were simply overwhelmed.

The competition which began with fourteen team mates have already seen seven of them exited. The remaining seven team mates will now have to contest for a slot each in the final five of the Grand Finale. Thus, two more evictions expected before the ultimate showdown.

In the night’s five a-side match, the team mates put up excellent showing as they recorded their third straight win against a visiting team after beating a select side from the All Nations University College 2-1.

After a barren first half, the team mates who seemed to have re-organized themselves registered an early goal just in the opening minutes of the second half. Their lead was however short-lived as the visitors immediately responded with an equalizer in a perfectly taken free-kick.

For a moment, it looked quite obvious that the game was heading for a draw until Ayamga #14, took advantage of a communication flaw in the eighteen yard box of their opponents and converted it into a superb finish. Captain of the week went to Ayamga #14.

Entertainment on the night could not have been better as it saw thrilling performances by two of Ghana’s renowned Hiplife sensations Stay Jay and Atumpan. The stakes are clearly much higher than ever before and this weekend’s eviction may well be a decider of the final five. This Sunday’s eviction comes off at 6:30pm at the MTN Soccer Academy House.

Fans are therefore urged to power their favourite team mate to the finals by texting his number to the short code 1584 on MTN and all other networks.
