The MTN Soccer Academy Skuulz Challenge 3 has for the second successive time forced yet another bitter pill down the throats of its numerous Fans and patrons as it witnessed the shocking exit of two of the competition’s most prominent Players last Sunday night.
First to be evicted was the 1.82cm forward from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Hafiz Saeed.
Following in the eviction train was the eloquent Stephen Nii Noi Thompson, from the National Film and Television Institute.
Indeed, the eviction of these two Players who undoubtedly had been touted by many to be part of the Show’s Finalists could aptly be described as a heart breaker and this was evidently portrayed in the many disappointed faces that had thronged the MTN Soccer Academy House.
The night however saw Martin Ayine #6, emerge as the new captain of the House. In the night’s five a-side match, the team mates played host to last season’s Skuulz Challenge 2 team mates.
Both sides put up great showing, keeping to their well-rehearsed strategies, but in the end, it was the Skuulz Challenge 3 team mates who perhaps showed they were better masters of the turf, winning the game by one goal to nil.
The competition has already witnessed the eviction of four team mates and thus the exit of Hafiz and Thompson brings the number of evicted Players to six.
With the eviction of yet another two of the competition’s “Strong men”, which leaves the number of team mates left to eight, one can only imagine what the remaining Eviction Shows would hold for both team mates and patrons of the Show.
The next eviction comes off this Sunday at the MTN Soccer Academy House at 6:30pm. Fans are therefore urged to keep voting for their favourite team mate to stay in the House by texting his number to the short code 1584 on MTN and all other networks.
The MTN Soccer Academy Skuulz Challenge 3 is proudly sponsored by MTN.
