Lions lose protest against Faisal's use of strip

The Disciplinary Committee has dismissed a protest by Heart of Lions against King Faisal, claiming that Faisal presented and played in an unregistered strip.

Heart of Lions claimed that Faisal presented and played in an unregistered strip during their match-day-24 Premier League match on May 5th, 2013 contrary to GFA Regulations 17(a) 17(5) and 34(k).

However, after studying the facts of the case, the Disciplinary Committee ruled that the respondent did not breach the GFA's Regulations after submitting evidence for the registration of the strip.

"The protest filed by Heart of Lions is accordingly dismissed and without merit," a D.C. statement said.
