Liberty Professionals hold Dwarfs to a draw

Cape Coast, Feb. 14, GNA - Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals defied the massive home support of Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs to hold them to a 1-1 draw game in a friendly soccer match played at the Robert Mensah stadium, Cape Coast on Sunday.

After a goalless first half, both teams resumed the second

half with greater determination but it was Dwarfs who later

had the edge in their attack to brake the deadlock in the 68th

minute with a goal scored by midfielder, Mustopha Otoo. Otoo after collecting a midfield pass rounded up two

defenders on the run to score the goal with ease. Liberty Professionals came strongly into the picture in the

75th minute and following series of raids in their opponents'

vital area, outside right James Quartey, scored the much

needed equalizer in the 85th minute.
