Liberty Professionals coach George Lamptey has targeted a top 4 finish in this season’s Ghana Premier League.

The Dansoman-based Club have failed to make it into the top 4 since 2004.

The closest the Club has come was to finish in the fifth position during the 2008/09 season.

Liberty for the past seasons have been a mid-table team in spite of their good start in the League.

Lamptey is however looking forward in helping the Club to finish as one of the best four teams at the end of the 2015/16 season.

“We are really well prepared for this season, my players have been gearing up and everything is on course,” he spoke to Ghana Sports Newspaper.

“For some time now you will realize the Cub have failed to get into the top four.

“But this time around our target is to at least finish in the first four.”

The former CAF Confederations Cup campaigners lost 2-0 to Bechem United over the weekend.
