League 19th week matches

The premier league enters the 19th week of this weekend with more exciting pairings at all the league centers. At Koforidua, over improving Power F/C will make mince meat of Arsenals when the two clash in a gruesome encounter on Sunday.

Unimpressive Tano Bofoakwa will welcome Sekondi Hasaacas to the Sunyani Hasaacas to the Sunyani coronation Park, in a match that promises to be very exciting especially when the hometeam, Bofoakwa are wallowing down there on the league table.

A local derby awaits the two major soccer forces at Oseikrom, Asante Kotoko and King Faisal, with the former playing at home, where they are yet to lose a match.

At least, Kotoko can boast of the likes of Frank Osei, Michael Osei, Nana Frimpong and Shilla Alhassan to redeem their glory of failing to score a goal for the porcupine warriors in the last five matches. Nonetheless, it will not be an easy match for them especially when King Faisal managed to beat Bofoakwa last week at the same venue. But, at the end of it all, a slim win will go the way of the hometown.

Bottom-placed Mine Stars will have to salvage their image and change their destiny, other than that they will go the traditional way where new-entrants come and go out of the premier league with nothing to impress upon. Coming against wounded B.A. United who were beaten at home last week by Asante Kotoko will not be an easy match for them. A draw is likely going to be the outcome.

Tottering Obuasi Goldfields, after playing nine matches without a win will face the might of stubborn Suhum Maxbees at the Len Clay Sports Stadium.

At Bolga, Hearts of Oak will face their toughest task in the season when they play as guests to Real Tamale United. Accra Great Olympics will also lock horns with Okwawu United at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, but before then Liberty Professionals will play Dawu Youngsters at the same venue on Saturday.
