La Palm casino launches World Cup soccer raffle

Accra, May 2, GNA - Patrons of the La Palm Casino Sports Club have been granted the opportunity to be part of the 2010 Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) in South Africa. In a special raffle organised by the management of the Sports Club, two clients won an all expenses paid trip to watch the Black Stars at the World Cup in South Africa.

Chinese national Wang Gui Xians and a Ghanaian Henry Adadevor were the lucky winners in the first phase of the raffle after they were picked in a raffle draw.

As part of the package, the two winners will make the trip with their respective partners at a cost of GHC 14,000 each. Abdulai Nuhu, Marketing Manager of the La Palm Casino Sports Club told the GNA Sports that the competition is part of efforts to reward their loyal clients.

He noted that it is also part of their plans to raise the needed awareness for the 2010 World Cup as well as to gather more support for the Black Stars at the competition. Nuhu said that a second draw will be held later in May to reward two more clients to bring the number of winners to four. He added that each of the winners will be allowed to go on the trip with a partner and this will bring the total number of people to eight.
