La Diva Collection support Queens

…Ahead of African Women Championship

Hair giants, La Diva Collection, have presented items worth thousands of Cedis to the Black Queens ahead of this year’s African Women championship slated for Equatorial Guinea, beginning November 16.

The items included 90 pieces of Polo T’shirts, 70 pieces of round neck T’ shirts with the inscription ‘Black Queens’ on it, packets of Sanitary towels, T’ rolls, 12 boxes of energy drinks as well as a cash donation of GH¢1,000.

Presenting the items on behalf of Evelyn Fynn , CEO of La Diva Collection, Mr. Charles Osei Asibey, Programs Manager of Happy FM noted that the gesture was to urge the team on to win the ultimate for the first time.

And by way of motivating the team to realize that dream, La Diva has pledged the team GH¢1,000 for every six goals they score, GH¢3,000 when they get to the semi final stage and then GH¢5,000 should they emerge winners of the biennial soccer competition.

Mr Asibey gave the assurance that the doors of La Diva will be widely opened to the Queens for shopping, prior to their training tour scheduled for Germany or any of the West Africa countries.

The skipper of the side, Adjoa Bayor, thanked the donors profusely for the gesture and appealed to corporate bodies and individuals to follow suit.

The team’s coach, Mumuni Gamel, also expressed appreciation for the gesture and promised to give their best shot on the forthcoming soccer competition.

The competition starts from November 15 to 29 and Ghana is in Group A with Nigeria, South Africa and Tunisia. The Black Queens play the Nigerian Falcons in the first match on November 16th.
