Injured Ghana international Kwesi Appiah is making positive strides as he gears towards a return to the pitch in February.

This means that the England-based Ghana international is close to a return to the pitch after a career threatening injury he picked up on national team duty.

The Crystal Palace suffered the setback while training with the Black Stars in June ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritius.
