Kwasi Appiah Donates to Orphanage Homes

Head Coach of the senior national team,the Blackstars, has donated food items to Frankmeyer and Bethseda orphanages in Techiman, as his donation to reach out to the poor and needy as we celebrate Ghana's 56th Independence day.

The items include; rice,packets of soap, sugar, milo,fruit drinks,biscuits, cartons of milk,bottles of water and cooking oil. Kwasi Appiah, who was head coach of the Black Stars during the last Africa Cup of Nations said, the decision to give to the orphanage was to show appreciation to God for bringing the nation this far.

Francis Apus, Director of Frankmeyer Orphanage expressed his appreciation to Mr.Appiah for coming to the aid of the needy. He said the items have come at a time when the organisation is in dire need of support to care for the children.

He said the orphanage would continue praying for him and the national team to succeed in their future assignments.The items were presented on behalf of Kwasi Appiah by the Member of Parliament for Techiman North Constituency,Hon.Alex Kyeremeh and Mr.Kwadwo Ntim "Micky" Charles,a member of the Black Meteors committee of the Ghana Football Association.
