Kwaresey set to win league title

Ghana goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey is on the brink of making history at Stromsgodset IF as they inch closer to clinching the Norwegian league title.

The Godset captain will go into the history books as the first player to lead them to the title in over four decades.

Stromsgodset have amassed 59 points, 3 points ahead of main challengers, Rosenberg, ahead of the last two matches.

Coach Ronny Deila’s men only need to beat Tromso this weekend to be guaranteed of the ultimate even before the final round of matches.

Their goals difference of 36 as compared to Rosenberg’s 21 puts them in realistic position to snatch the trophy if they sweep the three points at stake this weekend.

Kwarasey has played a huge role in getting his side to this level, especially after conceding just two goals in the last five matches.

He has spent his entire senior career at Stromsgodset since joining them in 2007.
