Kwame Bonsu rejoins Gefle teammates for pre-season

Ghanaian midfielder Kwame Bonsu has linked up with his teammates at Gefle for pre-season training.

The 21-year-old former Heart of Lions midfielder travelled back to his base in Sweden last week and was part of Gefle's first pre-season training on Thursday.

"It went really well. It feels good also to have really a good session the first training after the break," he told GHANAsoccerent.com.

Bonsu, a versatile midfielder who can play in either defensive and offensive midfield roles, joined Gefle in the second-half of last season from Mjällby and played 14 games.

Gefle will fly out to Barcelona - Spain, to continue their pre-season and Bonsu is thrilled with the prospects of the upcoming season.

"We'll go to Barcelona in February to continue preparing for the new season," he added.
