New York City FC midfielder Kwadwo Poku has been nominated for Major League Soccer Goal of the Week for Week 25.

Left back Angelino played a ball forward to Poku in the middle of the field.

The Ghanaian midfielder made a nice one-touch pass to David Villa to his side before turning on a defender and sprinting forward.

Villa took a few dribbles and played a lovely through ball to into the 18-yard box that Poku skillfully slipped past Steve Clark with the outside of his right foot for a goal in the 57th minute of the Club's 2-2 draw at Columbus Crew SC on August 19.

Poku found the back of the net again in the 66th minute for his six goal of the season in all competitions.

Voting runs until 11:59 p.m. PT on Thursday.
