Kwadwo Asamoah is irreplaceable, says Conte

Juventus manager Antonio Conte has underlined the importance of Ghanaian midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah, describing him as “irreplaceable” though he continues to hunt for Napoli’s Juan Zuniga.

Asamoah, an offensive midfielder, has over the last season been deployed as a wing left back – a position he has executed with distinction - but it is likely that Conte will allow him to play his normal role in January if he gets the Columbian from Napoli.

“Kwadwo Asamoah is irreplaceable, he is a key player for Juventus,” Conte told Tuttosports. “He is very vital to our game plan and he does so well.”

In the summer, Conte wanted to buy Zuniga for the left wing back role but Napoli refused and after failing to renew his contract, the player could be heading to Turin next January.
