Kwadwo Asamoah eager to return to full fitness

Kwadwo Asamoah continued work in the Juventus training ground during the international break.

The midfielder was not invited for Ghana’s double-decker against Mozambique due to fitness concerns.

He focused predominantly on fitness, dividing his time between the gym and the outdoor pitches in a sunny Vinovo.

Asamoah has not been consistent since recovering from a knee injury which sidelined him for close to a year.

Close to 14 Juventus players have been selected by their national teams for qualifiers and friendly matches.

Asamoah last played for Juventus on 11 March where he lasted the entire duration in the 1-0 win over Sassuolo.
