Kwadwo Asamoah could pass late fitness test to face AC Milan in Serie A

Ghana star Kwadwo Asamoah may feature in the match between Juventus and AC Milan if he passes a late fitness test today, Saturday.

The 25-year-old was left out of the Bianconeris squad that won 2-0 over Trabzonspor in the Uefa Europa League after suffering a hamstring injury during training on Tuesday.

But he could be fit to slot into the Bianconeris midfield if he is declared fit at Turin on Saturday morning before the Juve squad flies to Milan for the match on Sunday.

If he wins the battle against injury, he will face his international team-mates Sulley Muntari and Michael Essien, who both play for Milan.

Asamoah remains one of the consistent players for Juventus this season and has contributed immensely to their campaign, playing 22 games and scoring once in the Serie A, and created as many as 26 scoring chances.
