Kuffuor urges Muntari to take Inter walk

Samuel Osei Kuffuor has urged Sulley Muntari to take a move away from Inter Milan if the opportunity comes amidst concern that the Ghanaan will struggle to get first team football at the San Siro.

The Ghana midfielder has spurned several offer that would have enhanced his prospects of first team football even when everything points to a frustration spell on the sidelines this season for the former Euorpean champions.

But ex Bayern Munich and AS Roma defender Kuffuor feels Muntari will help himself if he travels the a similar path to what he did last season when he went out on loan to Sunderland.

"Sulley is a player we all admire and cherish and we know what he can do on the field of play but for me last season he didn't live up to that while at Inter Milan,” Kuffour told GHANAsoccernet.

"This was the reason why he was loaned to Sunderland and he played well to my expectation."
