Kuffuor Undergoes Successful Surgery

Macon, Georgia, USA --- Hearts of Oaks' utility player Emmanuel Osei-Kuffuor underwent a successful laparascopic surgery to remove gall stones from his pancreas on May 16 .

Kuffuor's surgeon Dr. Brown Ekeledo speaking from the Medical Center of Central Georgia described the one-hour operation as "very successful." Osei-Kuffuor is comfortably resting at the Medical Center now, and may be released late tonight.

Osei-Kuffuor's family physician and FIFA agent Sam Amporful, MD, and Vice-President of Amporful Soccer Consultants, Inc. Isaac Brew are tonight closely monitoring his recovery. Dr. Amporful is optimistic that he will be on his feet and running by Monday.
