Kuffour To Return to National Team

Kuffour could be set to return to Ghana's national team after he was expelled from the team at the last Nations Cup in Mali.

According to the player, Ghana FA officials, led by chairman Ben Koufie, talked about his return when they attended his daughter's funeral.

"We expressed our views on how the national team should be run and what needs to be done to revive the nation's football, which is dying a painful death."

"I'm really happy that the FA boss recognises the fact that senior players have a role to play in the revival of the Black Stars.

Kuffour said the swimming pool - where the tragedy took place - would not be destroyed but will have a fence built around it, as a monument to his late daughter.
