Kotoko whipped by Aduana Stars

Richard Arhin’s strike was enough to hand Asante Kotoko another painful defeat at Dormaa as Aduana Stars once again proved their superiority over the Porcupine Warriors with a 1-0 scoreline at the Osagyefo Agyemang Badu Park.

Kotoko, who fielded a star-studded team including their talisman, Ahmed Toure, enterprising midfielder Jordan Opoku and shot stopper Joseph Addo, created over a dozen goal scoring opportunities but Aduana Stars were resolute in defense as Kotoko piled pressure on them for most periods of the game.

Aduana Stars paraded an experienced and consistent backline with Godfred Saka and Emmanuel Akuoko featuring prominently as Black Stars goalkeeper Stephen Adams manned the post with shrewdness to prevent any goal from his opponents.

Below are the players both teams paraded

Aduana Stars:

Stephen Adams, Emmanuel Akuoko, Godfred Saka, Francis Larbi, Abdul Ganiyu, Seth Opare, Abubakar Saddick, James Abban, Eric Asiedu, Richard Arhin, Daniel Darkwa

Kotoko:

Joseph Addo, Kojo Poku, Eric Donkor, Abeiku Ainooson, Ohene Brenya, Michael Akufo, Richard Mpong, Jordan Opoku, Toure, Obed Owusu, Prince Baffoe
