Kotoko to play Faisal for coronation match

Accra, July 7, GNA - Kumasi Asante Kotoko would play city rivals, King Faisal in a coronation game billed for the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi on Sunday, July 20.

The Premier League champions would be presented with the Premiership trophy by officials of the Professional League Board (PLB) after the game regardless of the outcome of the duel.

Kotoko beat Faisal both home and away this season and the latter is expected to have revenge on their minds when both teams clash for the third time this year. The "Porcupine Warriors" dethroned archrivals Accra Hearts of Oak to win the Premiership for the second time in three years with a point haul of 69. Matches involving Kotoko and Faisal are often cagey with Kotoko having the better head to head.
