Kotoko to get Fabulous Arena in mega rlg deal

Champions Asante Kotoko will get a multipurpose stadium christened the rlg Fabulous Arena from IT and electronic company, rlg Communcations in a yet-to-be unveiled three-year deal, 90 Minutes can reveal.
RLG, who will become Asante Kotoko’s eleventh sponsor since Board Chairman Dr K.K Sarpong took office in the middle of 2010, will cough up some GHC120,000 yearly sponsorship amount, totaling GHC360,000 for the life span of the contract with the porcupine warriors.
90 Minutes sources reveal Kotoko bigwigs have reached a perfect agreement with the new sponsors to build a stadium for the club in a yet-to-be determined location within Kumasi.
The Kotoko stadium project which by the end of its construction will be named the rlg Fabulous Arena will likely begin to take course in the final year of the contract.
In the yet to be unveiled deal, 90 Minutes understands that one of the juicy packages for the club’s teeming supporters, will be rlg manufacturing Kotoko branded phones with the club raking in GHC 5 on each phone purchased.
