Kotoko to Take Decision On Taylor

The Interim Management Committee of Kumasi Asante Kotoko says it would make a decision on the future of midfield star Charles Taylor after their Premier league tie away to Real Tamale United this weekend.

The Porcupine Warriors could wrap up the 2005 premier league title this Sunday with victory at the Kaladan Park.

The Kotoko management says it would recommence negotiations with Taylor's current club Etoile Du Sahel next week.

The management of Kotoko is presently undecided as to whether the player should be contracted on a season long loan deal or an outright purchase.

In a related development two Asante Kotoko players, skipper Issa Ahmed and midfielder Yusif Chibsah continue to attract the attentions of two clubs in Turkey.

Though Kotoko declined a $150,000 offer from Giaziantespor earlier this season for Issa Ahmed, the Turkish club is reported to have presented an improved offer for the hard working defender. Chibsah is reported to have received a Turkish offer.
