Kotoko spank Dwarfs in a friendly match

Cape Coast, Sept 23, GNA - Supporters of Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs returned home disappointed when visiting Kumasi Asante Kotoko whipped their idol club, 6-1 in a friendly soccer match played at the Cape Coast Robert Mensah stadium.

After referee Jeffrey Amamoo signalled the to sides into action it was Kotoko who scored three quick goals through Obeisseh Obiodun, (a Nigerian import), Kwame Obeng Darko and Francis Kuofie within 20 minutes.

The home team gradually warmed into the game as they found their rhythm from the 35th minute and managed to score a goal through their mid-fielder, Kofi Jonathan in the first half.

Kotoko however continued with the pressure on their opponents an went ahead to increase the goal tally to 4-1 when Kuofie was on target again in the 55th minute with midfielder Eric Bekoe, who played a yeoman's game scoring two more goals to bring the final scores to 6-1 and seal the doom of the homesters.
