Kotoko set to withdraw FA threat

Kumasi Asante Kotoko management are expected to withdraw their letter threatening possible court action after reaching a compromise with the FA. FA Chairman Ben Koufie and Herbert Mensah, the Board Chairman of Asante Kotoko, met yesterday to discuss the demands and legal threat by Kotoko.

The Kotoko management gave the FA a seven-day ultimatum pending the FA's response after they had demanded a sum of about $ 33,950 of damages.

Asante Kotoko claim they suffered financial losses due to the FA's postponement of their 9th week league match against Adansiman United without their knowledge.
